I was wondering if any of you in this group wouldn't mind giving me some recommendations? I friend of mine is getting into plushie making and is wanting some faux fur for her plush. I looked around on the places I purchase my fabric, but they either don't have any offered, or not the right shades.
She's looking for some fur that would match the 'Mango' minky color, and hopefully also one to match 'Banana'. (shannon colors) I'm not sure what length she wants but a goodly length for a fox tail. Kind of feathery?
If anyone has any recommendations I would be appreciative! Thank you so much!

While I haven't personally used faux fur, I've looked around, and the site that seems to have the best selection of colors is fursuitsupplies.com. Samples are available, too. Unfortunately, they always seem to be out of stock of a lot of their colors.
Another option to look into would be dying the faux fur. There are tutorials out there. Mainly it would require a dye formulated for synthetics. This is a more messy, advanced process, but could result in the best results for matching colors.

Thank you so much! I'll bookmark that for myself in case I ever have a need for faux fur. I asked epicrainbowcrafts and he gave me a couple suggestions, so my friend has happily purchased her fabric and it is on the way. ^^
